Before joining the BBR Network in 2002, Marcel Poser worked for over 10 years in the field of steel construction and construction engineering machinery for tunnels and bridges in Switzerland, the European Union, Asia/Pacific and Africa. Marcel is a Licensed/Professional Engineer and member of the Swiss Association of Engineer and Architects (SIA). He is a graduate of Zurich University in Switzerland and post-graduate of the University of Texas at Austin in the United States.

After joining the BBR Group in 2002, Marcel initiated and successfully negotiated a variety of construction projects and advised BBR Network members around the world on technical restructuring and acquisition of high-end and high-prestige construction projects. Before he was appointed CEO of BBR VT International Ltd in 2006, he led technical development as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of the BBR Group. Marcel is an active contributor and member of various industry associations, such as for example The International Federation for Structural Concrete (fib). His engineering interests are in the area of cable stayed structures, LNG tanks and construction engineering.

A Swiss-born German national, Marcel is married with one son and speaks English, German, basic Italian, French and Korean.

Thomas Richli holds a degree in Civil Engineering of Zurich University and a degree in Business Administration of Bern University. Before he joined the BBR group in 2008, he worked for over 11 years in the road, tunnel and building construction industry. He headed and supervised various civil engineering projects in Switzerland. In 2005, he joined an international manufacturer of construction measuring and surveying instruments where he provided global sales, marketing and technical support to the subsidiaries.

At the BBR Headquarters in Switzerland Thomas is responsible for business development, marketing, support of the BBR Network Members during project acquisition and maintenance of the BBR knowledge management system.

Thomas is Swiss and speaks German, English and basic French.

Piotr Krawczonek has a strong academic background in mechanical engineering, having graduated with a Masters Degree in Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Lodz, Poland, where he also obtained an MBA. Piotr's first involvement with BBR was during his academic studies, while doing the obligatory internship at the BBR Headquarters in Switzerland.

In 2005, having gained a broad range of professional experience in various production industries in Europe, Piotr joined BBR where, as Production Manager, he is now responsible for manufacturing processes, development and quality control - right through the entire supply chain - from raw material, through BBR’s manufacturing plants, and finally to the PT Specialist companies as end-users of the BBR products.

Piotr is an ambitious businessman with an enthusiastic attitude to life - he speaks Polish, English, basic German and Russian.
