Band Post-tensioning System
The CONA CMB is a propriety unbonded band post-tensioning system and uses 1 to 16 seven-wire prestressing strands. The prestressing strands have a nominal diameter / nominal cross section of 15.7 mm / 150mm2 and a maximum characteristic tensile strength of 1860 MPa. In addition, compacted strands with a diameter / cross section of 15.2 mm / 165 mm2 and a maximum characteristic tensile strength of 1820 MPa can be used.
The available anchorages are the stressing or active anchorages (Type A) and the fixed or passive anchorages (Type F). The band tendons are sheathed with two layers of HDPE and the strands are individually greased/waxed.
