CONA CME
External Post-tensioning System
The European Approved and CE marked CONA CME is the most up-to-date and advanced external post-tensioning system employed by the BBR Network. The CONA CME tendons consist of 1 to 31 seven-wire prestressing strands, whereas the prestressing strands have a nominal diameter / nominal cross section of 15.3 mm / 140mm2 or 15.7 mm / 150mm2 and a maximum characteristic tensile strength of 1860 MPa.
The available anchorages are the stressing or active anchorages (Type A), the fixed or passive anchorages (Type F) and fixed couplers (Type K or H). The tendon sheaths are smooth plastic or steel ducts, which are injected with a high performance grout or a flexible filling material.
The CONA CME is European Approved and CE marked.
