With a history stretching back over 75 years, BBR always has many reasons to celebrate! This year, we mark the 70th Anniversary of the first BBR geotechnical application – strengthening of the roof and walls of the underground Verbano Control Center, an important part of the Vallemaggia hydroelectric scheme in southern Switzerland. Since then, there have been many examples of engineering excellence created using BBR GT technologies for applications such as for structural stability including dam strengthening with world record capacity anchors, landslip prevention, securing excavations, hold-down solutions for wind towers and also a variety of anchoring projects for bridges.
