Congratulations to BBR Polska on winning the BBR Network CONNÆCT Best Article Award 2022 for their feature article ‘Poland’s longest expressway’. Their work on the S7 Expressway involved both internal and external post-tensioning for six road bridges and incremental launching for one major overpass. The story is set in the context of their long history of involvement on various sections of this new highway.

The two other shortlisted articles were BBR Malaysia’s ‘Harnessing benefits of top-notch expertise’ about their specialist experience of light rail transit viaduct construction as used on Package 2 of the Klang Valley MRT and ‘Making new history in Merredin’ by SRG Global which outlined how they used post-tensioning to deliver significant benefits for the construction of a new 42 million liter potable water tank on the Goldfields Water Supply Scheme pipeline in Western Australia.
