BBR HiAm CONA Pin Connector stay cable connector system
The BBR® HiAm CONA Fixed or Adjustable Pin Connector is the perfect blend of strength and beauty, while at the same time it extends the inherent benefits of the BBR HiAm® CONA® family. The BBR HiAm CONA Pin Connector is ideally used when it is necessary to simplify the end connection details or there is a desire for the stay cables to feature either single- or double-end fork connectors.

- Aesthetically pleasing and very slender stay cable appearance utilising either a single- or double-ended fork connector
- Optional turnbuckle and coupler providing standard adjustable lengths of ±50mm and ±100mm, other customisable lengths available on request
- Optimised for 15.7 mm diameter, 1,860 MPa strand
- System assessed and in compliance with the latest fib Bulletin 89, PTI and CIP (Setra) recommendations
- Superior axial and bending fatigue resistance with BBR Benchmark testing above and beyond international standards
- Utilises the same advanced corrosion protection system as featured on the BBR HiAm CONA anchorage
- Designed to withstand an out-of-plane rotational misalignment of up to ±23mrad which is larger than any other solution in the market
- Cable to pylon connection is simplified leading to a smaller pylon
- Bending effects from service and wind loading are significantly reduced
- Stay cable installation either performed by initial preassembly on site and subsequent lifting into place or single strand installation
