Harnessing the strength of international expertise within the BBR Network, local Member KB Spennteknikk AS joined forces with BBR Polska to offer their client a comprehensive package for bridge launching and post-tensioning services on two projects involving twin motorway bridges. After completing the incremental launching and installation of BBR VT CONA CMI internal post-tensioning for the bridges spanning over Rossevann Lake, the team has now moved on to nearby Monan for a repeat performance. The ‘green’ approach to bridge construction offered by use of the incremental launching method was vital here in order to minimize impact on these environmentally sensitive waterscapes.
