CONA CMI EIT chosen for major Swiss project

Electrically isolated tendons (EIT) offer the highest level of water ingress protection for post-tensioning systems, preventing corrosion, maintaining structural integrity and preventing potential catastrophic failure. Two of Swiss BBR Network member Stahlton’s recent projects demonstrate the use of Category C (electrically isolated) BBR VT CONA CMI internal tendons. The projects – the Rosenberg Tunnel extension and the Recolaine Bridge replacement - can be found in the latest edition of CONNAECT on page 54.
