Research & Development Engineer (100%)

Start date: 01. May 2024 or as agreed

Your tasks:

• Act as leading engineer in R&D projects, directly reporting to the Head of Technology
• Perform new system and product design for the worldwide construction industry.
• Provide technical support for international projects such as post-tensioning, stay cables, as well as maintenance, repairing and retrofitting of existing structures.
• Carry on from small to large scale tests on international laboratories with focus in Europe.
• Elaborate precise documentation be for obtaining technical approvals.
• Represent and promote the company in international conferences and congresses.
• Participate in international technical committees for new standards or guidelines in the business field of company.

Your profile:

• M.Sc Eng. or PhD in civil / structural engineering, mechanical engineering, material science
• Ideally having international experience in R&D projects
• Strong innovation insight with business flavor for commercial products
• Good knowledge of FEA (mainly ABAQUS)
• Fluent English (oral and written), German knowledge is a plus.
• Track record on skills of reporting and writing technical documentation, as well as of presentations.
• Team player, both internally and externally working with the global network
• Willingness to travel
